In step with every word
VOX doesn't tell macOS where it is in a song, so Lyrimuse asks VOX itself and the lyrics keep up, even after you skip around. Allow it once when macOS asks.
VOX plays your lossless and hi-res files. Lyrimuse finds the lyrics and shows them under the notch, in the menu bar or on the desktop, in step with every word.

A .lrc file with the same name as the song, or lyrics saved inside the file, are picked up, and you can have them win over online sources.
VOX reports the artist and album as one line. Lyrimuse splits them apart again, so the right lyrics and cover are found.
The repeat button in the lyrics window switches VOX's own repeat mode, and volume follows along. The next songs in your playlist have their lyrics ready before they start.
Lyrimuse doesn't need a VOX account: the free version playing your own files is all it takes. Pick VOX in the setup guide and you're set.
Everything else works the same in all fourteen players: desktop lyrics, the capsule under the notch, the menu bar, the Touch Bar, the Lyrics Window, translations, pronunciations and Last.fm scrobbling. Try it on the home page
