The version you're hearing
Lyrics are matched to the recording Spotify is playing, so a live take or a remix with the same title doesn't slip in.
Spotify lyrics, right in your menu bar.
Writing or browsing, there's no need to bring Spotify to the front: a glance at the menu bar tells you where the song is.
Made for Spotify
Spotify Web too
Listening in the browser? The lyrics follow the page's own progress. Safari, Chrome, Edge, Brave and Arc all work.
Spotify's lyrics count too
If you've opened a song's lyrics in Spotify, those lyrics are compared with the rest.
No sign-in
There's no Spotify account to connect, and the free plan works too.
Everything else works the same in all eleven players: desktop lyrics, the capsule under the notch, the menu bar, the Touch Bar, the Lyrics Window, translations, pronunciations and Last.fm scrobbling. Try it on the home page
